“Calculus” is a word that some consider to be “scary.” But the actual material isn’t so tough – when presented in an easy-tograsp way. This class is designed to ease students into the world of calculus, suitable for someone who has never seen the subject before, or for someone who might have seen some calculus but wants to review the concepts and practice applying those concepts to solve problems. Students will learn about derivatives, integrals, and word problems in this class. The word problems will connect the concepts of calculus to real-world applications. (Note: $15 materials fee)
