Explore both 3D Printing & Design AND Mechanical Engineering! This class encourages an open-ended design concept. In 3D Printing & Design, students will explore the concepts of 3D printing and CAD (computer-aided design) to bring their own creations to life! Students will design a model in preparation for real 3D printing! Take it home and show off your creations to all your friends! The fun doesn’t end when camp does, students can continue to improve their skills at home using the same modeling software with 24/7 access! And during Mechanical Engineering, students will use the Engineering Design Process to design, create, test, and refine a variety of machines and mechanical systems. They learn basics of fluid mechanics, simple machines, and other design and engineering concepts while constructing roller coasters, egg-drop vehicles, and more! (Note: $120 materials fee)
