
This short course will cover the mathematics required to improve your score in Advanced Placement Environmental Science next year. In a fun and fast paced class, students will review some long-forgotten algebra such as dimensional analysis, half-life, scientific notation, percentages, graphs and tables, etc, and will preview the mathematics of population growth, energy, trophic levels, etc. Students will also learn to use their programmable calculators to greater advantage. Along the way, many AP topics will be discussed using actual AP questions.
*Note: Many of the math skills covered in this course are also applicable to AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Statistics, and AP Economics
