CourseGraphic In this exciting class, students will learn the manual alphabet, family signs, numbers and how to use them, and other basic signed vocabulary. The students will practice their receptive and expressive skills by participating in fun activities and class discussions. This class includes valuable information regarding American Deaf Culture norms and behaviors as well as a brief overview of Deaf history in America. No previous signing experience is required for this class; however, by the end of this class, students will be able to carry on a basic conversation in sign language with a Deaf person.
