Reading Comprehension: A Novel Approach - 4B (Gr. 6-8)

Reading becomes hands on not merely a passive activity in this class where students will explore new ways to engage with the novel. Not only will we read a book, we will explore how genre affects the “rules” of the story, dissect the building blocks of story telling, and find new ways to connect with the material. This course is designed for students who wish to improve their reading comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary skills by actively engaging and interacting with the written word. (Note: $35 materials fee)
