Learn Photography for Sports/Athletics - Spring 2025

ClassGraphic This course will cover how to create newspaper photojournalism quality images for specific sports. Sessions will cover photography for specific sports (soccer, volleyball, rowing, water polo, swimming, basketball, softball, baseball, cross country / track, golf, etc.). Other sessions will cover group/team photography, portraits, software and workflow, including preparation and editing photos for clients, where to find work and how to get started. We will cover professional standards including copyright and work contracts.
But we will start out simply. There will be introductory classes and assignments to demonstrate photography basics and for the instructor to become familiar with the students’ capabilities and needs so that the class content can be tailored accordingly if necessary
