Pre-Algebra - 3A (Gr. 4-8)

Objective: To prepare students for the study of algebra. 
Topics covered: integers, fractions, decimals, and negative numbers; factorization; associativity and distributivity; roots and powers; PEMDAS; basics of equations; variable manipulation; Cartesian coordinate plane. Each day will include some lecture time, some practice problems with solutions, and worksheets. At the end of each day, we will connect that day’s material to the real world. (Note: $5 materials fee)
