Creative Writing - 3D (Gr. 6~8)

Have a great idea for a story, but don't know where to start? Or maybe you hate reading because you never find any stories about characters that are like you? Come to this writing workshop where we will break down the basics of character creation and plot development. We will also discuss how elements such as genre and common tropes can be used by writers to shape reader expectations. By the end of the week students should emerge from this course with the first draft of a short story, or the first chapters of a longer story written. (Note: $25 materials fee)
