This innovative program empowers students to harness the power of AI—specifically ChatGPT—as a collaborative coding partner while developing real-world applications. Participants will choose one programming language—JavaScript, Java, or Python—and focus on either frontend or backend development based on their selection. Through guided modules, hands-on challenges, and AI-supported learning, students will gain deep coding expertise and problem-solving skills.
Program Modules
1. AI & ChatGPT as a Coding Assistant
Students will explore how ChatGPT can function as an intelligent coding partner for debugging, feedback, and learning.
Demonstration of AI-assisted development in Java, Python, and JavaScript
Live code review sessions where students use ChatGPT to refine and debug their code
2. Mastering Language Fundamentals
Each student dives into core concepts of their chosen language through interactive lessons and tasks.
Python (Backend): Learn object-oriented programming by building a text-based quiz app
Java (Backend): Build foundational skills through projects like a student grade management system
JavaScript (Frontend): Create interactive web apps using buttons, forms, and dynamic content
Students complete targeted challenges (e.g., loops, functions, classes) with ChatGPT’s support
3. AI-Assisted Project Development
Apply language skills and AI collaboration to build creative, functional applications.
Project 1: Develop a quiz app with ChatGPT helping generate content and validate logic
Project 2:
Java: Command-line or web-based student management system
