Objectives:

  • To develop critical thinking among students.
  • Similar to math and language, logic is a fundamental aspect of society and is arguably even more widely used. However, it remains significantly underemphasized in modern education. To address this gap, we created this contest to underscore the importance of logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Description:

The Bay Area Logical Reasoning Champion is an Annual Reasoning contest for elementary and middle school students from 1st to 6th Grade.
We believe problem-solving helps students become better thinkers and, therefore, better equipped for advanced learning. Our contest aims to develop students' problem-solving skills and encourage logical thinking, which is widely used in day-to-day life.

During the contest, students have 60 minutes to solve 32 creative problems independently without a calculator. Students will be getting MCQ sheets with worksheets to participate.

Our Unique Approach:

  • Grade-level Tailored and Engaging Problems: We design different problems for each grade level, enabling students to face challenges that align with their skills and allowing them to compete with peers in their age group. For younger students, we craft our problems to resemble intriguing puzzles, igniting curiosity and engagement in math.
  • Recognition: Winners will be notified by email.

Recognition and Awards:

  • Certificates:   All winners will receive achievement certificates.
  • Medals: The Top 3 positions will receive Medals.
  • LeaderBoard:  Winners will be posted on the LeaderBoard.
  • Participation Certificate:  All participants will receive a participation certificate.
