« back to classes page

This DIY Science workshop provides all the materials needed to build a wireless remote control car and an electric train. A fun and engaging STEM project, it’s perfect for kids aged 8-12. Participants will assemble the models using 3D wooden pieces, creating the full working mechanisms. Once built, the cars can be painted and decorated, making each one unique. The finished models are great for displaying on a table, shelf, or in a child’s bedroom, playroom, or study area. Kids will feel a sense of pride as they see their creations come to life and actually move. Through building the remote car and electric train, children will develop important skills like hand-eye coordination, creative thinking, and physical and intellectual growth. (Note: Material fees $10)
