Canvas Painting and Calligraphy - 3C+D (Gr. 4-12)

In this class, students will learn the basics of Acrylic art on Canvas, Calligraphy, and Sketching. Students will learn the proper use and care of artist tools. During this class, students will learn the basics of calligraphy lettering, produce an original canvas painting, and create a portfolio of sketches and character drawings. Free art time is a big part of the class, when students can allow their creativity to blossom. By the end of the class, students can expect to have a completed Acrylic Canvas and the tools they will need to continue the development of their new calligraphy skills and sketching techniques.
