AP Biology Preparation - 4A+B (Gr. 9-12)

This class is designed to introduce the four “Big Ideas” of AP Biology. Besides getting fundamental knowledge of Evolution, Genetics, Ecology and the Cell, students will learn science skills which include scientific investigations (inquiry), mathematical skills, developing models, generating evidence-based claims & designing experiments. Student centered lessons will help them to learn strategies for independent learning, critical thinking, and improving their writing responses for given concept-based questions. *Ideal for students who will be taking Biology Honors or AP Biology in the fall.
