Advanced - Applied Statistics for QA/QC-MFG-ENG

Provides instruction on how to perform advanced reliability/confidence determinations (for use when no other method is suitable), how to choose sampling plans, how to create and use process improvement charts, and how to evaluate your current calibration program for effectiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements. Specifically, the class will cover the following topics: statistical tolerance limits, reliability plotting, SPC (Statistical Process Control) and related "process capability" calculations, QC attribute sampling plans, and statistical control and evaluation of measurement equipment. After finishing this workshop, the attendee will understand how to provide the most accurate assessments of product quality, and how to monitor product quality on an ongoing basis.

The workshop is delivered in two consecutive half-days:
Part 1: Wednesday, July 24, 8:30am - Noon
Part 2: Thursday, July 25, 8:30am - Noon

Class taught by John N. Zorich, Jr.

Prerequisite: Previous completion of Intermediate Applied Statistics workshop or equivalent training and/or experience.

This workshop provides 0.7 recertification units for those seeking or renewing ASQ CQE or RQE or similar certifications.
